Villa Kabala is not just a restaurant. Nor is it merely a place. We do not follow trends here — we create worlds.
This house was once the creative space of István Farkas — an artist who stood outside every school of thought, yet etched his name forever into the history of Hungarian painting. Each of his works bears the imprint of his unique vision. This is what we believe in as well.
That is why we created The Table Fellowship — the Kabala circle of supporters — for those who:
- feel the power of the space — in the connection between the garden, the kitchen, the table, and the people,
- understand the importance of quiet example,
- wish not only to be part of something special, but to support it and help shape it as well.
In the past, many used to say, “I will save the world.” Today, we feel differently: it is not about saving, but about preserving. Safeguarding what holds true value, and making space for what is alive, authentic, and deeply human.
This community is not meant for the masses.
It is for those who value true quality born from local treasures, who believe in a world shaped by hand — whether it is a piece of ceramics, a tasting menu, or a new way of seeing.
The supporters’ circle gives back more than it asks — because to belong to it means taking part in a living, inspiring story. One whose next chapter we are now writing together.
Forms of Support — Ways to Connect with The Table Fellowship
The guest reads our story — they observe our world from the outside, discovering what happens here through our newsletters.
A friend comes closer — they see, hear, and feel. They step behind the scenes and look into the vlog, where even the small details of daily life become visible.
A supporter steps into our living room — we create together through workshops, shared flavors, and shared thoughts.
And the patron sits at the table with us — planning, dreaming, celebrating; becoming part of the story.
There are several ways to join The Table Fellowship — just as in a good gathering, it is not about taking the stage, but about being present.
Guest
The first circle at the table — those who observe, taste, and have been with us from the very beginning.
- Kabala ceramic keychain
- The Kabala “Inner Letter”: personal writings, plans, stories, a newsletter, seasonal recipes, and fragments of thought (once a month, at the beginning of each month).
- Early access to information about our events.
- A Christmas surprise and a bottle of Bozzante for the toast.
Friend
Those who are no longer simply present, but truly connected — asking, responding, shaping.
- Everything included in the previous level.
- Exclusive access behind the scenes at Kabala (recipes, interviews, moments from life in the villa, about us and with us — in video format, once a month, mid-month).
- Seasonal, informal gatherings — sometimes on the terrace, other times around the fire — held on the first Thursday of each month. Opportunity to participate in the Villa’s Open Day: on these occasions, we shape the theme of the following month’s market together (collective brainstorming, creating the promo video, and more).
Supporter
Those who are true co-creators of the Kabala story.
- Everything included in the previous levels.
- A personalized plate.
- On the last Sunday of every season, we host a special gathering for our supporters, where around the table it is not only the tastings that matter, but the togetherness itself. These occasions are about more than a simple visit: we offer a glimpse behind the scenes, share what inspires us, and reveal where the Kabala story is heading. Participants are the first to take part in our thematic presentations — whether centered on a unique ingredient, a new technique, or the reinterpretation of a traditional method. Each gathering concludes with a unique gift package and a shared experience that connects our supporters to one another and to the story of the house.
Patron
For those who not only believe in us, but also choose to stand with us — quietly, from the background, yet tangibly helping us continue to build this world.
- Everything included in the previous levels.
- A personal consultation and in-depth conversation about the annual plans and future directions.
- Your name will also appear individually on the “Wall of Gratitude” within Kabala’s interior space.
- On the most special evening of the year, May 31st, we gather at the table together for the Patron’s Dinner: an occasion that is at once celebration, dialogue, and gratitude — an evening when the Kabala story is not only told, but continued together.
In the last week of May, we welcome every member of the Asztaltársaság to a Community Day — to celebrate together all that we have built side by side.
